It’s the day after Thanksgiving and all you want to do is stay home in your pajamas, right? But how can you when sales and doorbusters await?!
Many of us drag ourselves out of bed at the crack of dawn and stumble to retailers in a turkey-induced coma, all in the hopes of nabbing the best deals on gifts for friends and family, but what if there was a way to get all the best deals without having to sacrifice our post Thanksgiving relaxation? There is! Friends, it’s called Cyber Monday and it's a beautiful thing.
The Monday following Thanksgiving (December 2nd this year), more than 80% of online retailers offer holiday discounts just in time for the holidays. I'm talking huge online discounts on the hottest holiday gifts all from the comfort of your favorite chair! There are tons of websites working hard to save you money this holiday season, eager to make Cyber Monday an easy and affordable holiday shopping experience.
On your first cyber stop, check out Cyber Monday for “the best of the net” deals. Psst! It’s also one of my top sources for Cyber Monday deals from more than 700 retailers. The site's home page features links directly to Cyber Monday sales from major online retailers such as Apple, Nordstrom and Home Depot.

These limited-supply deals will go quickly, but we'll add new ones throughout the day, every day, so you can skip the long lines and still save a bundle. A word of caution before you let your fingers do the shopping, please keep these things in mind:
Update your virus protection, spam filters, and anti-spyware software. Hackers come out to prey when folks are more likely to be exchanging sensitive financial data. Just like you’d guard your wallet in a crowded Black Friday line, guard your bank account in the Cyber Monday rush.
Protect your credit card number. It’s suggested that you never store your credit card or personal information with a retailer. Uncheck defaulted “Remember me” boxes. Pay attention to check box options as you confirm your order. Finally, find out if your credit card company offers a unique number for online purchases.
Use trusted websites. Make sure the address bar has an “https” connection when you go to check out. The additional “s” on the http means the website is secure and that hackers can’t access your financial information. It’s also a good indicator that the retailer you’re buying from is legitimate.
Finally, sit back and enjoy those incredible Cyber Monday savings!More from GalTime.com:
